Mr. J S Nzeeka popularly known as Sannu-Sannu is a victim of the Kaduna state government’s demolition.
His house was demolished on the 25 of February 2021 by Kaduna State Urban Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA).
In an interview with DAILY EPISODE, Sannu-Sannu discloses how he legally acquires the land from the federal ministry of communications through Nitel on the 26 of March 1986.
Mr. Sannu-Sannu was given the land in appreciation of whistleblowing by the then first territorial manager of Nitel Kaduna branch, Eng Etikudor through his general manager Isaiah Muhammed as contained in a letter made available to DAILY EPISODE.
Mr Sannu-Sannu builds the structure as directed in the paper, started his business in the building where he later turns it to both residential and commercial use.
The structure was demolished without notice as claim by the victim.
The structure is where he lives, and also carries out his business to earn a living. the Kaduna state governments usually demolished structures without getting proper information’s about how one acquires the land, how long the land was built, and how the victims will live hard. Mr. Sanu-Sannu lives in an open space since the day his building was brought down by men of the KASUPDA.
Although one of the kaduna state governments aid has reached me, the person failed to tell me his name and promise to come back after showing him evidence and my reason to live here, but to no vail, he never returns as promised.
I demand justice from the state governments, rebuild my structure or compensate me as life is difficult for me he added.
