As the local government election is expected to be held in Kaduna state tomorrow, the state independent electoral commission, SIECOM, has postponed elections in four local government areas due to rising insecurity.
The Commission’s chairman, Dr. Saratu Binta Dikko-Audu, stated this at a media briefing in Kaduna state on Friday.

“After due consultation with members of the Commission, the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission has the resolve to postpone the Local Government elections in Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Kajuru, and Zangon Kataf.”
