As the north is unsettled by rising crimes of banditry and kidnapping, the Nigerian Air force foils attacks on the Nigerian Defence Academy by a terrorist group of armed bandits.
According to a report published by PR Nigeria, about 20 terrorists were eliminated on Thursday while fleeing to escape the bombardment of the Nigerian airforce.
The terrorists were reportedly approaching the military training institution, numbering about 50, on motorbikes with plans to repeat an attack they succeeded in last year.

Kaduna state has almost lost ground in security recently as the north, east, west, and southern parts of the state experience instability in security with a significant number of kidnappings, killings, cattle rustling, and religious and communal clashes.
The Strange Assassination Of Kaduna Administrator
Outrage in Kaduna on Friday, as senior staff with the rank of Director of Operations in Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Dauda Aliyu Anchau, was assassinated at his residence bordered with the Nigerian Air Force Base in Igabi local government area Kaduna state.
Daily Episode gathered that assassins got access to the deceased’s house in Barakallahu GRA, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, to carry out the murder.
Alhaji Ibrahim Gaya, a resident and community leader in Barakallahu GRA, expresses shock over the incident, lamenting that despite their efforts and significant investment in securing their environment, an assailant breached their efforts to kill an important gentleman, benefiting society and the state as a whole.
We hope that security will find those responsible for this assassination because no one was kidnapped and no property was taken; the culprits were exclusively after Dauda’s life.
He did, however, urge both the federal and state governments to enhance the nation’s security, particularly that of the Igabi and Giwa local governments, which are seeing an increase in banditry-related crimes daily. He added
The deceased was, however, buried in his hometown, Anchau, according to Islamic jurisdiction.
The assassins also made their way to the old Barakallahu, where they bugged a house belonging to one Bitrus Gajere and stole valuables.
Accounts Of The Escaped Victim
Mr. Bitrus stated that the criminals shot a gun twice in his house, bugged his son’s room, and stole phones, laptops, and his son’s bag.
We thank God that no one was hurt or kidnapped, but we were terrified and suffered significant financial loss as a result of what they took.
Patience Joel narrated how they escaped when they heard the criminals trying to bugle and gain access to their room through the window.
We only prayed and hid in various locations. We heard them when they came in, but they didn’t find us, so they took what they wanted.
We couldn’t sleep because the gunshots were heavy and made strange noises.
Patience further called on the government to assist in providing security to their community for the safety of their lives and property.
While compiling this report, police authorities have yet to confirm the incident.
