Humans and animals cannot live without water and food, but in the Middle East, war and climate change consequences stand to root problems and undermine the basic needs of humans in countries like Yemen, Syria, and Iran, which may set the region up for more dangers, especially since the region’s temperature is forecast to rise by 5 degrees in the next decade.

The region has been devastated by armed conflicts and violence for over a decade, which has caused a mountain of explosive devices and their kind, while displacing civilians from their homes. The likes of Saif Saleh, who was a farmer and victim of the armed conflict, narrate his sad story as an environmental migrant in need of humanitarian aid.
